BIO:
Marc Johnson born Jan 6, 1977 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina is a professional skateboarder. He started skating in his teen years.
Marc is one of the pioneers of street skateboarding and is known for his technical skill on a skateboard. Originally from North Carolina, he moved to San Jose, California at age 17 while sponsored by Maple. After Maple started collapsing due to a lack of direction, Marc joined the A-Team after an offer from Rodney Mullen. After a few years on A-Team he and his teammates quit because of the feeling of skating for an engineered team that was a marketing ploy. Marc then went on to form Enjoi with Rodney and sponsored friends and fellow pro skaters like Jerry Hsu and Louie Barletta to fill the team. After skating for Enjoi for a few years, Marc was more involved with being the creative director than actually skating. Needing a change of pace, he left Enjoi and joined Chocolate. Shortly after, he joined Lakai.
