Alex Olson may be the son of 70s skate king Steve Olson, but don't let that fool you - this young thrasher is making a name all his own with a unique style and sharp skills that have earned him spots at major-name competitions like Maloof Money Cup and X Games. Influenced by 90s East Coast skaters and the co-curator of a gallery show at the Quicksilver/Autumn shop/gallery in NYC, Olson is the kind of skater who refuses to slow down - in the last few years, he's been traveling the world with his team and making solid showings at major competitions as well as filming some truly gnarly tricks for a number of skate videos. Most recently, Alex skated in Maloof Money Cup OC 2010.
