World’s Greatest Skateboarding Event Returns to New York June 4-5
Andrew Reynolds, Geoff Rowley, Dennis Busenitz among Competing Pros
(Irvine, Calif. -- May 17, 2011) The Maloof Money Cup (www.maloofmoneycup.com) presented by Vans and airing live on FUEL TV -- announces the roster of pro street skaters who will compete at the first Maloof Money Cup event of 2011 in Flushing Meadows-Corona Park, Queens, New York June 4-5.

The Masters of Street Demo will make its second year in a row appearance at the Maloof Money Cup 2011 in New York. The first event completed its debut in Orange County in 2010. Conceived and Produced by Pro skate and Event coordinator Steve Steadham, We are happy to be part of the New York City event. June 4th and 5th 2011.
Sponsored by Independent, Powell-Peralta, Steadham Skate Ind., Bones Wheels, Capital Skateboards, Hollywood Surf Wax, Messiah, S-One Helmets and S-Tech Wheels. The Masters Street Demo will feature Legendary Icons Lance Mountain, Christian Hosoi, Ron Allen, Pat Ngho, Frankie Hill, Eddie Reatigui and More.
A special autograph signing will be held in the Masters of Street Booth in the Festival Village. Come and experience the real deal. This is where street skating originated.
Style, Lines, tricks. Street skating and Vert skateboarding have evolved into a seriously Technical sport. Check the MMC website for Autograph signing and Event schedule.

Day 8 of the Globe SA your was a demo at Revolution skatepark at Festival Mall and the same day that Haslam and Appleyard flew back to the States. The tour ended up being super awesome and a huge thanks goes to the Maloof Money Cup, Northern Cape Tourism and Globe for bringing them out. Also a big thanks goes to Element, Volcom, Almost, Skull Candy, Red Bull, Revolution, Sailor Jerry, Session, and AV for supporting this tour so much. Here’s to the next 2 pro tours for 2011 and the Maloof Money Cup event in September!

Professional skateboarder, co-owner of FLIP skateboards, namesake of his own Vans shoe line, skate film and video game scene stealer, Liverpool-turned-Orange County native, diehard Motorhead fan, new father, head designer of this year’s Maloof Money Cup skateboarding contest courses, and now patron saint of the gospel of skateboarding, spreading the good news to those less fortunate: Geoff Rowley is a busy man. We talked with Rowley about his work with the Maloof “Skate & Donate” Program [see Fig. 1], and why the program is such a worthy cause.
