BIO:

Mark Appleyard (born on November 11, 1982, in Oakville, Ontario) is a professional skateboarder. He currently resides in Huntington Beach, California. He is 6 1", 160 pounds, has a size 11 foot, and his skateboarding stance is goofy. His favorite trick is a backside smith grind.

He began skateboarding at the age of 10 and grew up skating Hamiltons Beasley Bowl (a park that Mark was so fond of he recently had its name tattoed on his leg). Appleyard also eventually started hitting the streets of Toronto. He also attended Lord Elgin High School in Burlington and is still a role model to many locals.

In 2003 Mark was thrasher skater of the year

Mark also has a skate park named after him in the Cayman Islands, when he bumped into a architect building a skate park for his son. Mark gave him a couple pointers.

He is known for his smooth style and laid back personality.
