Baker and Deathwish had just come off of the Low Life Tour, and I can only imagine how grueling the tour had been for everyone. Here Justin 'Figgy' Figueroa shows no fatigue with a Noseblunt down the Gold Rail.
When I first looked at this photo, I thought I accidently uploaded a photo from MMC NYC. Little did I realize, Kyle Walker is just that good at Switch Heelflips and can pull them anytime and any place.
Theotis Beasley is a saint. Never will you meet a nicer or more humble person. This Frontside Flip is just a hint at how many tricks he actually did down the set in little to no time.

Some of the local DC heads have been holding down their own and killing the course early on. Corey Huber was destroying this rail, with this Fakie Tailslide just being one of them.

Kevin Romar skating is more fluid than anyone skating the past two days. This Nollie Heelflip was more natural looking than a deer running through the woods.

Of all the tricks going down on the kicker to trash can, Vincent Alvarez's Full Cab Big Flip was by far one of the best. Going that fast into any trick is tough, something as difficult as this is a whole other world.
It's amazing to see Bastien Salabanzi come onto the course and make everything look so simple. This Half Cab Flip was just one trick of many that built up to even more difficult tricks.
The quarter pipes at the end of the course are getting more attention than potentially any other obstacle, which aren't as common in a contest of this magnitude. Collin Provost is going to have plenty to
watch once his heats come up on Sunday, this Frontside Ollie just being warm up.
Dennis Busenitz was supposedly not going to show up for this stop of MMC, but rumor has it once Mic-E Reyes saw the course Dennis was here in less than 24 hours. Be ready for destruction all weekend; this
Backside Disaster is just a tease.
One of the great things about this contest is you get to see people skating in a format that you typically would not. Case and point, Dennis. This Frontside Crook was popped out, but I can just as easily see him
taking it the entire length of this long ledge.
One of the best parts about skating is getting to hang out with your friends and enjoy the laughs. Jimmy Carlin brings the party no matter where he goes, then pulls Fakie Hardflips down huge sets of stairs.
Frontside Noseslides are pretty difficult to pull, let alone past the 12 foot mark. Matt Berger had no problem with it, and went on to big spin out no problem.
How often do you get to see Ryan Gallant skate? How often do you get to see him skate in a contest? Maloof was able to pull it off, and I can't wait to see what tricks Ryan pulls during his runs like this Kickflip
Front Crook.
Ryan DeCenzo is a machine. Of all the skating he has done in the past two days he's probably only missed three tricks. This Front 180 Switch Crook was done easier than most could Boardslide.
When Andrew Reynolds throws his board down, filmers and photographers alike flock to the site. This Frontside Flip was done merely to stretch out his knees, preparing him for the rest of the destruction to come.
