FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Los Angeles, CA- May 31, 2012-
Pro skateboarder Garrett Hill has teamed with Maloof Money Cup and tech wizard Jason Ossenmacher and his team to develop BlackBook. This yearlong collaboration produces the first and only app that allows skateboarders to maintain their list of spots and tricks efficiently. Acting as its own private little black book, users can log their spots as a pin on a map along with all of the spot’s corresponding photos, videos, and a virtual to-do list of tricks. The application will launch alongside its own website, which will >continuously host contests and giveaways for users who actively share their BlackBook skate photos and skate clips from the app.
Hills says, “The app is simple to use and I don’t know a single person in skateboarding who doesn’t have a use for this app: everyone from street skaters to filmers and photographers-professional and otherwise. We’ve all been demanding something like this for a long time, but no one was able to put their finger on how to go about it, until now. It’s not some novelty, people are really going to get a lot of use out of this app. Even in it’s developing stages, it’s really been crucial in helping me film for Zero’s Coldwar.”
As an introductory promotion, the app will be available for only $0.99 USD in the month of June.
(regular price will be $1.99 USD).
