The Maloof Money Cup Am Qualifiers consisted of over 40 amateur skaters from all over South Africa. Kids from Kimberley, Cape Town, Johannesburg, Durban, and cities all over the country tried to kill it hard enough to earn a spot in the MMC SA Am Championships. Durban local Lance Walter laid down some gnarly tricks like kickflip back lips down the big 4 rail earning him a spot in the Am contest. Cape Town local Marcel van der Walt killed it on the big section , throwing down tricks like frontside crooks down the big 4 rail, earning him the second spot in the Am contest. Props to all the SA skaters for laying it down in attempt to skate the Am finals. See you all on Sunday!
