We will be posting the winners here as they are announced:

Day 1 Winner:

Juan Greyling
Excelsior, Freestate
The maloof money cup has changed skateboarding in south africa for the better. It keeps south african skaters updated with the international level of skateboarding and thus helping them progressing and achieving more. It has made great contributions to kids during the skate for hope tours. It motivates children to know that through hard work and dedication you can achieve your dreams. Personally the maloof money cup has shown parents that skateboarding is a valid and competitive sport. Also the fact that there is a skatepark in kimberley now reassures the parents that there kids are safe and not in potential danger while skating at the park as in the case of street skating scenarios. Maloof has become one of the greatest attractions to the northern cape and has greatly increased the skateboarding industry in south africa. Last but not least we as skaters gets to see our rolemodels in real life.

Day 2 Winner:

Toyob Surtie
Aliwal North, Eastern Cape
Maloof money cup is that one expirience u gotta have being there made me make more friends this one event gave me a goal and that goal is to enter this event, its the first time ive ever seen so many skaters in one place showing the skateboard community in SA. I am so entering this.

Day 3 Winner:

Katlego Morena
Kimberley, Northern Cape
Well the kimberley maloof plaza is now my new home I don't think there is anyone or anything that can change that except bad weather. I am greatful for the maloof projects because it has brought us closer to skating and got a lot of kids of the streets it has given us a chance to skate on the best quality skate park in the whole of the Southern hemisphere with great mentor's like Chinner and Warrick who a very good skaters. This project has got kids from poorer communities which have high crime rates and high levels of drug and alcohol abuse walking long distances to the maloof plaza just to go skate and get their minds of all the negativity happening in their communities and homes. I have realised that there rates of unemployment have dropped and I think the maloof project has played a huge role in this and has raised the economy and the GDP buy bringing in foreign currencies. The maloof project is the best thing that has happened to South Africa and the kids of Kimberley.

Day 4 Winner:

Tlotlo Lesetedi
Kimberley, Northern Cape
I started skating in february 2011. I landed my first ollie on the streets of Kimberley where locals would meet up on saturdays and skate , we called it skate session . That's where the older guys taught me how to skate from my ollie to my first pop-shuvit. I love skating Kimberley CBD where we would often get chased away from spots but we would come back every weekend. They ended up calling the cops on us then we heard that maloof money cup was coming to South Africa to put the cherry on top to Kimberley. I had a sense of relief when I heard that , now I would be allowed to skate a proper skate park without being chased away. The skate plaza has improved my skills and kept many of us the youth away from crime. I thank the mloof family and organisers

Day 5 Winner:

Boingotlo Mothibi
Kimberley, Northern Cape
The MaloofMoneyCup is more than a competition in Kimberley because many kids, including myself, first started skating when the competition started in 2011. The competition made it possible for local skaters to meet our favorite skaters like Manny Santiago, Luan Olivera, Ryan Descenzo and many more. These influential figures motivated us.

In addition, the Skate Plaza remains an excellent place for local skaters to meet, skate and share experiences. Sadly, Kimberley has been plagued by alcohol and drug abuse but the Plaza has helped children to stay off the streets and keeps them occupied through a positive medium. In my opinion, the most positive thing about the project is that it accommodates everyone - no matter how under-privileged or talented they may be - by lending out more than ten skateboards every day. The project has, in the process, helped many Kimberley teenagers achieve their skateboarding dreams.

Day 6 Winner:

Jaydan Klaasen
Kimberley, South Africa
For me,skateboarding is my future. The Maloof skate plaza in Kimberley is where I am starting.I recently moved here from Cape Town and I am so totally crazy about living here, just because of this awesome Skate plaza. It is totaly awesome and I am so proud to be a part of this.I am now almost living at the skatepark, especially now in the holidays. My mother say its like having a day job without the pay cheque. I love all the competitions we having, the exitement and all events hosted by the Northern Cape Provincial Governmentn it is just totaly awesome being part of all this exitement.Children are being kept off streets and are now having all the fun on the plaza. I feel we all are having a sense of belonging here and are all part of the Maloof family. The park brought me hope, hope for my future. My dream is to become a professional skater just like Tommy and Moses and all the others. I believe I will one day become a champion on this very skate park. This is where it all began for me.I did attend both previous championships and I was very much impressed by not only the skaters, but also the organising. It was great meeting skaters from all over.Thank you to the Maloof family and Northern Cape Government for investing in us, and also in investing in our future and also seeing the potential of the youth of Kimberley, Northern Cape and South Africa. I believe you guys achieved your goal. Also, I think in my opinion that you guys rock.

Day 7 Winner:

Dylan Franz
Knysna, Western Cape
The reason it means so much to me is because it reignited the passion for skateboarding all over south africa.I went to the first maloof money cup in 2011 and got my MR.Price t-shirt with a lumonous skater on it singed by Andrew Reynold,Lizard king,Alan marola,Pedro Baros,Andy Macdonold and more.Just those signatures have inspired me to progress so much more in skating also the starting of Maloof has brought about the opening of the park in my town 'The Yard' along with the garden rought skate camp. All in all maloof was the best experience of my life and im looking forward to it next year!

Day 8 Winner:

Simon Harding
Barkley West, Northern Cape
Maloof has inspired me to start skating again after I broke my ankle a few years back. I just moved here and I have been at the park a few times. Its incredible how many young people are affected by a skatepark and kept away from the streets. It's Also good for tourism in SA and Northern Cape and promoting Skateboarding as a sport among locals and South Africans

Day 9 Winner:

Kieran Elliot
Scottburgh, Kwa-Zulu Natal
The Maloof Money Cup is the biggest skateboarding event in South Africa. Being a skater, as well as a huge skate fan myself, it's what I look forward to every year. Seeing the pro skaters that come to compete and managing to talk to some of them really motivates me to push myself further on my board and enjoy it at the same time. The MMC has really benefitted South Africa by creating a strong awareness for skateboarding over the entire country. The success of the MMC in Kimberley has really shown the Government that skateboarding is a respected sport and hobbie. I've noticed skateparks being built in other parts of the country with help from their municipalities and I only have the Maloof Money Cup to thank for that!

Day 10 Winner:

Lynn Fester
Cape Town, Western Cape
The Northern Cape is always a little neglected in terms of toursim and such, and the Maloof Money Cup really gives it this appeal, and makes u appreciate Kimberley and the N Cape more, because besides the killer skating etc, you get to be in a pretty cool province.

Day 11 Winner:

Kelvin Buckleyfawcett
Cape Town, Western Cape
To me i get Togo there on holiday with my brother and father. We drive from cape town. we get to see the best in the world and see the town of Kimberly grow. o how i wish cape town had a park like this. thank you Maloof.

Day 12 Winner:

Tyler King
Pretoria Gauteng
I started skating when I was 10 years old, I guess it was the pure adrenaline rush of doing something so pure and fun. My dream was to one day witness the greatness of the X games and all the professional skaters in person, and the Maloof Money Cup has brought that dream to me. I love the Maloof because I think that they inspire kids to get of the couch and start doing something active and keeping healthy, the Maloof Money Cup is an amazing attribute to Kimberly and South Africa as a whole. Its a great way to show kids another sport not native to South African soil. And that is what it has done for me.
