Boogaloos & Maloof Money Cup event at the Boogaloos Sakte Park at Stoneridge Centre on Saturday 21 May 10 – 5pm.
This biggest skateboarding event in the world is coming to Kimberley in September. The event is an initiative of the Northern Cape Province and part of a national outreach program focused on "Skateboarding for Hope" and the upliftment of underprivileged youth and communities, as well as the transfer of skills. The Northern Cape Province is building a world class skatepark in Kimberley to facilitate the event.

The purpose of the event at Stoneridge is to promote the event, but also to inspire, positively influence and encourage, especially the underprivileged kids to participate and take up the sport of skateboarding. Many kids from underprivileged backgrounds will have the opportunity on Saturday to enjoy a fun day at the Stomeridge Boogaloos Skate Park.
