IRVINE, Calif. — Vans will return as presenting sponsor for the 2011 Maloof Money Cup contests, Maloof Skateboarding said Thursday.
Maloof Skateboarding and Vans began their partnership last year with contests in Costa Mesa, Calif., and the New York borough of Queens. With support from Vans, the Maloof Money Cup New York became the first skate contest to leave its street course to the local community as a permanent skate park. The Maloof Money Cup will return to Queens in June, refurbishing the skate park with new obstacles designed by Vans pro skater Geoff Rowley.
