Autograph signings are available in the Festival Village, please check the onsite schedules for signings.

The skaters are chosen by a group of industry professionals

Is There designated parking at the Flushing Meadows Event?

There is no designated public parking area near the Flushing Meadows Corona Park, please utilize public transit via the 7 train Mets-Willets Pt stop and walk south east towards the Unisphere and NY State Pavillion.

Is there a vert contest in NYC?

There are vert and street contests in Orange County. However, this year NYC is street only.

Where can I get tickets to MMC New York?

This is a free event open to the public but a ticket is required to get in. We will post where you can get tickets through our various partners as they become available, so keep checking back and make sure to follow us on Twitter @maloofmoneycup, Facebook and MySpace for more details.

Are you keeping the course this year after the contest?

YES! With the help of our presenting partner, Vans, we will be donating the course to the city of New York through their Adopt-A-Park program where it will be a permanent fixture in Flushing Meadows at the old Astral Fountain.

Where can I buy tickets?

Where is the contest?

The new permanent Maloof Skate Plaza will be built in an existing parking lot, out front of RFK stadium. Don’t forget to purchase a new pair of Vans in the next couple months; they helped make this park possible

Will you be giving away free stuff?

There will be lots of free giveaways in the village and the village is free to attend

I can’t buy a ticket, should I still come?

Tickets are only required in the grandstand seating. There will be free standing room only sections to watch. The village is free to the public and will have a skate park to skate and lot s of free giveaways.

Are there after parties?

Will the park be open after the event?

Yes, it will be a public park

DIRECTIONS TO MALOOF MONEY CUP DC 2011


(All directions are to RFK Stadium.
MMC DC will be held in Parking Lot #3 across from the Armory)


From I-395
To Lots 3,4,5,6,7
    From Virginia, follow 395 North, across the Potomac River, for approximately three miles.
    Once past the Maine Avenue exit, stay in the left lane of the freeway. I-395 will exit to the
    right to the Capitol and Senate buildings. Do not follow I-395 North; stay left for the
    stadium.
    Proceed straight ahead in the left lanes to the exit at Sixth Street Southeast and Navy
    Yard. At bottom of the ramp go left at traffic light onto Sixth Street.
    Stay on 6th Street for .5 miles to Independence Avenue.
    Turn Right onto Independence Ave. and stay on Independence for 1.1 miles to 19th
    Street.
    Turn Left onto 19th Street and travel one block to East Capitol Street.
    Turn right on East Capitol to the stadium.

From I-66 and Constitution Avenue
    From Virginia, follow Constitution East past the Capitol to Maryland Avenue.
    Turn left on Maryland and go two blocks to Stanton Square.
    At Stanton Square, turn right onto Massachusetts Avenue.
    Continue on Massachusetts to Lincoln Park (at 12th Street).
    Go around Lincoln Park to East Capitol Street and turn right onto East Capitol.
    Follow East Capitol to stadium.

From I-270
    From Maryland, follow I-270 to I-495 (Capital Beltway). Proceed east on the beltway
    (towards Silver Spring).
    Continue to the Baltimore-Washington Parkway (south).
    Bear left onto 295.
    Exit onto East Capitol Street.

From I-95
    From Maryland, follow I-95 to I-495 (Capital Beltway). Proceed east on the beltway  
    (towards Richmond).
    Continue to the Baltimore-Washington Parkway (south).
    Bear left onto 295.
    Exit onto East Capitol Street.

From Route 50
    From Maryland, follow Route 50 west to Kenilworth Avenue (south).
    Exit onto East Capitol Street.

From Union Station
    Go East from Union Station along Massachusetts Avenue. Continue past Stanton Square
    on Massachusetts to Lincoln Park (at 12th Street).
    Go around Lincoln Park to East Capitol Street and turn right onto East Capitol.
    Follow East Capitol to stadium

Birmingham, Miami, Atlanta and Philadelphia are Final Stops on Cross Country RV Tour

(Irvine, Calif. – July 28, 2011) The Maloof Road Tour is heading into the final stretch of its cross-country RV tour, with just four cities left on the 12-city summer tour that began June 11 in Chicago. The summer tour comes to a stop at the first-ever Maloof Money Cup contest in Washington D.C. over Labor Day Weekend. The tour’s final five stops are Birmingham, Miami, Atlanta and Philadelphia.
