Boogaloos & Maloof Money Cup event at the Boogaloos Skate Park
Boogaloos & Maloof Money Cup event at the Boogaloos Sakte Park at Stoneridge Centre on Saturday 21 May 10 – 5pm.
This biggest skateboarding event in the world is coming to Kimberley in September. The event is an initiative of the Northern Cape Province and part of a national outreach program focused on "Skateboarding for Hope" and the upliftment of underprivileged youth and communities, as well as the transfer of skills. The Northern Cape Province is building a world class skatepark in Kimberley to facilitate the event.
The purpose of the event at Stoneridge is to promote the event, but also to inspire, positively influence and encourage, especially the underprivileged kids to participate and take up the sport of skateboarding. Many kids from underprivileged backgrounds will have the opportunity on Saturday to enjoy a fun day at the Stomeridge Boogaloos Skate Park.

On Saturday 16 July 2011, an amateur competition took place at 14h00. Amateur skaters participated in a competition to win a Element skateboards and t-shirts ( MMC, Boogaloos and Element t-shirts). The other competition took place at 16h00; in this category the beginner skaters took part in the competition. The prize give-away for first prize was : Elements and a Vans’ belt, t-shirts were also given to audience during the event.

Maloof Road Tour goes to Birmingham Alabama On Saturday, Aug 6th, 2011 the team partners up with Faith Skate Supply holding a Best Line contest where Will Gatewood wins his advancement to the contests in Vegas. Sunday, the tour brings together skaters with A Skate Foundation where the community was brought together to support autistic children and teach them to skate.

Road Tour Recap Video - Dallas
The Maloof Road tour stops in to Dallas Texas where D'andre Martin wins the Saturday line contests taking to the finals in Las Vegas at the Palms. Sunday, they held a charity kick ball game at Quiktrip Park where all donations went to CureSearch for Children's Cancer.
